Time Recording Network |
The network-based solution CHIPDRIVE® Time Recording Network enables permanent access to current booking times of employees. All clocking data are directly transferred to the server and are at the same time stored on a smart card.
The device is installed on the wall or can be used as a tabletop device with an optional stand, ensuring easy clocking in and out. CHIPDRIVE® Time Recording Network is applicable everywhere – in the office, agencies, factories or production facilities, and en route. |

Time Recording Touch and Go |
CHIPDRIVE® Time Recording Touch & Go allows employees to clock-in, clock-out and record time spent on specific projects with a mere touch of the CHIPDRIVE user chip token to the time recording terminal – eliminating the need to carry and swipe time cards. The small user chip tokens can also be used as key fobs, making them easy to carry.
Data from the user chip tokens is transferred to the network-connected Touch & Go terminal (CD0920 DI) via contactless MIFARE® technology, which offers high quality and fast data transfer. The terminal transfers all employee time data directly to the server. The entire operation takes just milliseconds. |

Setting up the CHIPDRIVE Time Recording Systems
- Install the Time Recording software and the smart card reader
driver onto your PC.
- Connect the Smart Card Reader to your PC.
- Set the calendar and the time on the Time Recording mobile
device.
- Create the user (employee) cards.
- After the software is installed and the user cards are made, for CHIPDRIVE Time Recording and CHIPDRIVE Time Recording Network,
the Time Recording mobile or terminal device is ready to work.
Using the CHIPDRIVE Time Recording Systems
To Clock In:
- User inserts card into the Time Recording
mobile or terminal device.
- They are then automatically clocked
in.
To Clock Out:
- User inserts card into the Time Recording
mobile or terminal device.
- They are then automatically clocked out.
To Create a Time Report:
- For CHIPDRIVE Time Recording: Payroll Manager inserts the Transport
Card into the Time Recording Device (the mobile will automatically
recognize the card as a transport card). The information is
then transferred to the transport card. Manager then inserts the transport card into the Smart
Card Reader, automatically recognizing the card
as a transport card. For Network Edition, this information is automatically transferred via the network connection to the Terminal.
- Once the information is transferred to the Manager PC, you can then
remove the card and create the user time reports.
